One big question that has been roaming the internet over the past month or two is who will replace Yadier Molina in the long run? This question continues to grow more and more popular with his age increasing, him undergoing thumb surgery, and also having a child. All three play a rather large role in his career. If his thumb surgery take a long time to recover from or something goes wrong during it could take a major toll on his career. The Cardinals have not really been on the search to replace him because in reality it will be very hard to find someone who can do what Yadi does behind the plate. In my opinion, Yadi is by far the best choice to be behind the plate. He is very reliable and has a cannon for a arm. Last season Yadi threw out 47.9% of runners or 35 of 73 runners which does not sound good but when it comes to the stat it is a very good one to have. There is not a lot of people who are brave enough to run on him. After Yadi's thumb surgery he should be able to get back at it and become even better than he is. I do not think that the Cardinals need to worry about replacing Yadi any time soon he is a great and will go down as a Hall of Famer.
